Cousin Mike

Sometime after my first dog show, I discovered that my mother's cousin, Mike Dougherty, was an avid Dog Person. In the above picture, his whippet has just won Best in Show under Dr. Don Jones. To date, this win remains the largest BIS win for a whippet. This was 1974!
